Drug & Alcohol Program

Quarterly random management, post-accident and reasonable suspicion testing, SAP guidance.

An FMCSA-compliant drug & alcohol testing program is mandatory for every CDL driver, and a disorganized random pool is an instant audit finding. We manage your random selections each quarter, coordinate post-accident and reasonable-suspicion testing, and guide drivers through the SAP return-to-duty process when needed.

Drug & Alcohol Program - FAQ

What are the random testing rates?

FMCSA sets annual minimum random rates (currently 50% for drugs and 10% for alcohol of the average driver count). We manage the consortium pool and pull selections each quarter so you always hit the rate.

What happens after a positive test?

The driver must be removed from safety-sensitive duties and complete the SAP (Substance Abuse Professional) process before returning. We coordinate the steps and keep the documentation compliant.
